Portraits of Inge
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Inge in the Nomadic Community Gardens in Shoreditch. We were both watching artists create new graffiti murals on the big wall as part of the when we got chatting. Inge is from Amsterdam and was visiting for the weekend with friends (who were nursing sore heads from a good night out). I asked if she'd be up for a portrait and she was a little hesitant. Showing her my Instagram posts persuaded her I kind of knew what I was doing.
Where we were chatting was in blazing midday sun which isn't usually the best for portraits so I asked if she'd mind standing in the shade. Just outside the Nomadic Garden boundary is an old tunnel which at one time would have gone under the railway. It's open but shaded which makes for great light and I think you'll agree, beautiful portraits.
