Red in Brick Lane

Editorial is a term most people will have heard in the context of newspapers and magazines. I'm one of them, though I have to admit to never really understanding the definition. Now I do, which is thanks to the explanation by Tony Wellington a fashion photographer at a recent seminar I attended. Below is the definition from wikipedia.

In the field of fashion publishing, the term has been adapted to refer to photo-editorials – features with often full-page photographs on a particular theme, designer, model or other single topic, with or (as a photo-essay) without accompanying text.

What I also learned is that if a photographer shoots the photo-essay they also pick the photographs and the order in which they will be displayed. That sounds very cool to me. So here is my first intentional editorial "Red in Brick Lane"
